Elections in Austria – disapointing

Yesterday the Austrian parliament was elected. It wasn’t within the normal term, because the cabinet existing of the two main parties was struggeling. Now they had to pay the bill. Both big parties lost socialists as well as the conservatives. Interesting is too that the “green” party (ecologists) also lost. Disapointing is that out of this the two right winged parties FPÖ and BZÖ have won votes. I like they arguments of the liberals, which are positioned straight in the middle of the political scenery (including social responsibility) didn’t reach enough votes to get into the parliament :-(

Now, as it has been for ages, Austrian politicians are discussing what to learn from the elections and are struggling who will be able to form the new cabinet. And that’s the most anoying part of all!
